While this book doesn't teach you how to write, it does point you in the right direction for making actual money online.As a freelance writer, I know how daunting it is to just get started. I was thrilled the first time I earned twenty bucks online, but now I actually manage to help pay the bills working part time as a writer, and it is possible to make a good living writing full time. Victoria highlights some great tips to help you get started, and her book is reasonably priced so you can make the small investment in yourself without feeling the pressure to become a wealthy online author overnight. :-)
One book won't make you a flaming success, but this book will guide you gently like a friend into those first few gigs and help you determine if this is the career choice for you.

If you're a new writer and thinking about writing your first book I think you'll find this helpful for getting inspired. There's a few good ideas in here and the book helps you really believe that you can do it. It's worth 99 cents.
This is a very brief book and gives an overview of a few different avenues you can pursue if you're interested in writing for money. If you're an absolute beginner and have no clue how to get paid for your writing, this book introduces a few options. If you already know what an affiliate program is and how to make money from a website, this book is probably too basic for you. I do like the idea of a writer challenge as getting started is often the most difficult part of starting a writing career.
If you want to start writing, or don't know where to begin, this is a really good book to get you going. I saw one comment that this book doesn't teach you how to write...but it doesn't purport to be an instructional book on creative writing so that's not a valid criticism. This book does exactly what it says it will! This is a book that will show you some of the different ways you can put your writing to work making money for you....one page at a time. And it does just what it sets out to do.
Victoria is a friend, although an ocean separates us. She is an inspiration to me as an aspiring writer. I got to know Victoria through her books and her website.
I have several of Victoria's books, a sweet little romance and a book about her trip to Europe, as well as others.
If you have a hobby and have thought about taking it to the next level, Victoria can and will help you. She's a joy to work with as well as inspiring and enthusiastic.
I think my review is as much a review of Victoria herself as for her book. I like her and I like her books.
This book is a little different from the "storybooks" and it's a great little starter guide to generate ideas.
This book is good if
1)you haven't read that much or know much about writing online.
2)need an introduction to the writer
3)need inspiration to begin your online writing career
4)want something that is quick, fast and gets to the point of what online writing is about
5)like reading books from people who are approachable and have some experience in what they are writing about
What I would have like more of
1)Explanation of her writing process in creating this book(the how to)
2)More online resources to help people with writing
3)A list of newbie resources for setting up their own website
